Many families in Burundi and across Sub-Saharan Africa do not have enough nutritious food. This is a direct barrier to human development. We treat food as fuel for the body – and a well-fueled body powers a well-fueled brain

Processing facilities: grains, dairy, oils, protein, fortified products
Distribution and last-mile logistics
Inputs and advisory systems: quality seeds, soil health, training, access to mechanization
Clean running water
The amount of human time and energy spent searching for water is hard to imagine until you have lived it. When water is far, life becomes smaller. Unsafe water also increases disease and keeps families trapped in a poverty loop

Energy and electricity
Energy is the multiplier. Electricity allows machines to do machine-work so people can do human-work: learning, designing, caring, and building. We believe a large share of human problems becomes solvable when food, water, and energy are reliable
